Can I upload my list of valid email recipients to No-IP?

YES!

We highly encourage you to do so. Uploading your valid recipients list allows us to block spam and unwanted email at the SMTP level, drastically reducing load on your servers and ours. This applies to both our Mail Reflector and Backup MX products.

Uploading your email user list is easy:

  • Log into your No-IP.com account and click the Mail link on the left side of the page.
  • Click Modify next to your domain name.
  • Click the button to Add Accounts.
  • Paste a list of your valid accounts in the box. You just need to enter the user and not the @domain.com portion of the address. If you're entering multiple accounts, put one per line. Click to save your list.

That's all there is to it. Be aware that it can take up to 5-10 minutes for the new list (or changes made to an existing list) to become active.

NOTE: Once you add a list of accounts, No-IP will ONLY accept email for those accounts specified. We will explicitly reject mail not included on your list of users. You need to maintain this list if you add or remove email accounts in your domain.
