I'm running Windows XP why I can't reach my server from other computers.

Starting with Windows XP, Microsoft has built in a basic firewall into Windows. This firewall is enabled by default, and will stop you from running a server properly. To disable this firewall, go to the Control Panel, Network Connections, right click on your network connection, and go to Properties, then the advanced tab. On this screen you will see the Internet Connection Firewall box, where you can disable it. At the bottom of this screen there is also a settings button to allow you to change the configuration of this firewall.
